How long did it take me to go pro? 5 years... yes, lots of hard work... I got 4 stocked, I got spiked, and everything else. I know how it feels to lose hard. but, I'll only say what a pro player told me the first time I ever got pwned hardcore in front of the whole New Mexico Smash Community. he said: "This is when you say: "screw this, I'm done, this game sucks, and you guys don't have a life." Or you can say: "Oh, ok, I see that there are many good players out there, and I can't wait to be better than them.""
So I chose option number 2, and after much training. I became number 1 in Las Cruces for SSBM.
I take any challengers who can prove to be better than me anytime.
I main Falco, and I started playing my freshman year of High School.
What about you guys?

I started playing Melee my Sophomore year of high school, when I moved back to California. I was terrible at the game back then, but I got better and better. I always had a lot of fun after school that year when me and three other of the smash noobs would all gang up on my friend who was one of the best ones at melee. He always said it was messed up that we did that xD That was probably the only year that I could get multiple people to team up on one person, becuase all of the incoming freshmen after that were only in it to win for themselves. They never really focused on making the best person lose, like I like to often do :P
In the mornings that we played, my friend who was supposedly the best at the game wouldn't usually get approached by anyone but me :P I was usually the first one to die in those matches. Often times, he would have his character just stand there, and he would just attack anyone that came near him. After he graduated, I became one of the best people at fox, and soon after Brawl was released and a lot of the freshmen wanted to play Brawl a lot. I got sick of Brawl before most of the people in the Games Club did. Mostly becuase I missed playing Melee, and I got worse at Melee, as we played more Brawl :P
Also, I used to have a copy of Melee, but one of my neighbors stole it when I let him borrow it. And that is why I usually never let anyone borrow my games anymore, becuase I've had multiple games lost or stolen when I let people borrow them, or when I accidentally leave it at someones house :\
